Thats a very nice C. penns. colony you have going there. I have just replaced my C. vicinus with a C. modoc colony of about 25k members. It did not swarm this year as of yet. They are quite happy in their 4 foot aquarium. Those little pigs eat about 6 tablespoons of granulated sugar each week. There is an active colony of Reticulitermes hesperus in the aquarium also so their protien needs are met with that. James |
